Mission
To empower women and families in the North-Central Florida region by providing them with spiritual, emotional, educational, and financial support with the goal of helping them to achieve independence in mind. In doing so, we hope to encourage and enable women and families to contribute individually and collectively in strengthening our community as a whole.
SPECIFIC GOALS
Act as a collective support network, resource, and voice for women.
Establish, support, and facilitate education activities.
Generate and when considered appropriate, distribute funds as needed.
Develop a list of available governmental and community resources to assist women according to their specific needs.
Recognize and utilize alternative resources available (i.e. time, transportation, etc.) thereby optimizing the skills and abilities of all contributing members of the organization.

The Gainesville Woman's Club is proud to support this year's virtual UN Day Meeting.
We were founded in 1914 and are the oldest Woman's club in the community with
the goal of providing support for community betterment through volunteerism for all residents.

Baha'is believe in the oneness of God, the oneness of religion, and the oneness of mankind.
Once we can agree that there is but one Creator of us all, we can begin to see each other as one human family.
Baha'is as followers of Baha'u'llah also embrace and revere Christ, Muhammad, Moses, Buddha, and Krishna as Divine Manifestations of God
and feel a sense of unity with their followers.
The oneness of mankind must be the central focus of our attention, in this day, the pivot point of our actions.
